Warid Users Shifting Rapidly On Other Networks For 3G & 4G Network
Everyone is shocked on the moves by Warid Telecom as they did not participate in the 3G and 4G auctions in Pakistan. No one knows that what the company is planning for its users. The admin on their official Facebook Page
is saying that they are working on the best solution for their
customers but apparently their customers are shifting to other networks
rapidly. Read the details after the jump.
According to unofficial sources in Warid, the company is planning to
launch LTE service for its users within few weeks but they did not
released any official statement yet. It is being said that Warid's LTE
service will work on the 1800 MHz spectrum which they already owned
since when they came to Pakistan and they do not need any license to
launch LTE on that.
Due to silence from Warid, it's users are panicking and moving towards other telecom companies which are offering 3G services in Pakistan including Mobilink, Ufone, Telenor and Zong. Telenor and Ufone started offering free 3G internet trial
service in the major cities of Pakistan. Warid loyal customers said
that they do not want to leave the network but they have to do it
because they want to adopt latest technology with everyone (3G and 4G).
Warid's Statements On Their Facebook Page:
- "Warid Telecom is working to provide advance data technology which will be announced shortly".
- "Please be informed that the solution to be offered shortly will be offering an enhanced data connectivity and speeds to our valuable subscriber base."
Everyone is waiting for an official statement by Warid Telecom regarding the fuss about 3G and 4G in Pakistan and the future of their company.
